In 2011, our friends Jacob and Carolyn Gahn crafted something unique and beautiful in their kitchen in Berea, KY. A hearty recipe for granola would grow to enrich the lives of many farmers, employees, and consumers for years to come. Their vision for making nutrient-dense food, supporting local farmers, and becoming an important part of their community in Kentucky flourished into what Sweetgrass Granola is today.
In 2023, after employing Kyle for 7 cumulative years, the Gahns proposed ownership of the company to us and we knew it was an amazing opportunity to continue what they had started. We are honored to carry on the legacy of this business & are passionate about continuing to support local farmers, source the BEST ingredients, and deliver the most nutrient-dense products we possibly can.
